Mr. Kristian Bush, half of the country music duo Sugarland, helped to support Sistercare at the Songbird Cafe in Columbia on Thursday, October 22nd.  Supporters of Sistercare were invited to an intimate evening of entertainment, including a performance by Mr. Bush, Mark Bryan and Patrick Bush.  The performers at the event performed gratis, with all proceeds going to benefit the wonderful work that Sistercare does. Sistercare supports abused women in the community, who have no where else to turn.

The Atkins Law Firm and friends went to the fair today, October 23, 2015.  It is great to get out in the crowd and really spend some time outside, enjoying the beautiful weather, delicious food, and delightful company.  Maybe we will see you, at the Fair, next year!

The 9th Annual Furball is hosted by Pawmetto Lifeline and helps to raise money for homeless pets in the Midlands.  This spectacular event features a cocktail reception, raffle, dinner, and a silent auction.  For the third year in a row, the Atkins Law Firm ’s Karen Shelton has donated two beautiful wreaths, to be auctioned to the highest bidder at the Furball.  Thank you, Karen, for supporting homeless pets in the Midlands in such a beautiful way!

In April of 2015, we walked in Pawmetto Lifeline’s Bark to the Park to help homeless pets! In 2015, Pawmetto Lifeline raised $156,519.00 to help support pets in the Midlands.
